I really like Feldman’s approach. He is very conservative. I went to the other orthodontist in town and he recommended that our daughter has seven teeth pulled! Whereas Feldman said if it... was his daughter, he would just wait. The other (Daniels) brought us into an office, flashed the X-rays and photos of my daughter’s oversized and crooked teeth on a large flat screen, then proceeded to ask my seven-year-old daughter at the time what she wanted her smile to look like!?! Are you kidding me? He was trying to set her up with insecurities about crooked teeth so that we would act sooner = $$$.My daughter is now nine. She had two teeth pulled because one baby tooth was still in front of her front big tooth and refused to budge. This morning Johnnie Feldman said that he’d like to wait as long as possible for braces and then do it all at once when it can be more cost-effective and efficient with her all her big teeth in. When he addressed how some parents might want braces on their kids sooner because of social reasons, he spoke very discreetly in code so as not to give my little one a complex (because she doesn’t think twice about what her smile looks like!). Then he added that this is what most 8/9/10 year olds look like so he didn’t advise action. Very happy with our experience there.read more

Feldman Orthodontics has been a wonderful experience. Of course, I was not the one wearing the braces. My son received braces from them two years ago (and is getting them removed... now).Everyone at the practice has been very professional. Appointment scheduling was simple. The check in process was quick and easy, which is essential if you are coming in monthly over several years for regular adjustments. The practitioners were knowledgeable and very helpful. They did a wonderful job of walking us through the process in the early stages giving us realistic expectations of a timeline. The regular appointments for tightening meant that progress was made but in smaller incremental and less painful steps. The braces provided were small and as non-intrusive as I could hope for. By the end, my son commented that he didn't even really notice them any longer.As one might expect, the price is relatively high even after insurance - though I don't have a comparison to provide with other services in the area. But the cost was certainly worth it. And they were very good about letting us pay on a monthly plan as opposed to all at once.If you or someone in your family needs braces and you live in the area, I highly recommend them.read more

My lingual braces broke off from one of my tooth, and not wanting to travel to my original orthodontist in another state to get it fixed, I reach... out to the team at Feldman, who were happy to give me an appointment to evaluate the situation. Throughout the time I was there, the staff were very friendly and clearly communicated what their plan is, and what is happening everyday step of the way. They were very patient, taking care to not only repair the lingual brace but also put in reinforcement in other places that show weaknesses from wear. After the procedure, the doctor gave me some advice on how to maintain the lingual band and what are some lower maintenance alternatives. And they did not even charge me! Both my husband and I received treatment with Dr. Kelly. I started my journey first after having had braces as a kid and my teeth had shifted. She listened to my concerns and what I wanted... and we came up with a plan. As an adult with a palate expander, Dr. Kelly was SO great to work with. She even gave me her cell phone number in case I had any issues when the office was closed. I finished off my treatment with clear aligner trays and I love my end result. I don't think 5 stars is sufficient, the team at Feldman made us feel like family. A little back story, my husband had his braces done with them well over 15 years ago. First off, his teeth... are still so prefect! Secondly, when I called Diane from the front desk remembered seeing my husband all those years ago, that to me shows they care and ensure to have a staff that cares enough to get to know everyone! As far as my sons braces, they made sure that he felt comfortable enough to be there alone for his appointments. My experience at Feldman Orthodontics in North Haven has been overwhelmingly positive. The office manager at the front desk is always kind and welcoming when coming in for an appointment.... Working with their treatment coordinator was also a great experience! She is attentive and helps you navigate financial plans and what works best for your budget. I decided to go with clear aligners which was such a good decision for me, and their lab technician makes sure that things fit nice and comfortably. The ortho assistants have been a blast! Super kind, gentle, and walk you through each step of your appointment. Dr. Preeti is nothing but professional and super sweet, and she really prioritizes comfort and results for her patients. I had braces as a kid and I kick myself for not knowing about Feldman sooner! My experience as a young adult getting orthodontic treatment has been so much better than I would have expected. You’ll kick yourself, too, if you don’t go with Feldman in North Haven for yourself or your child’s ortho care.read more

I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Preeti, Amanda, Mackenzie and the entire North Haven staff. Both my children do not enjoy going to the dentist yet they feel incredibly at ease and... relaxed when at the orthodontist and with this incredible team of caring hygienists.
